Sagami Tei

YEAAA!!! We finally made it this time! haha after much delay, I got to come back to one of my favorite sushi buffet restaurants in the OC. Last time we got sidetracked with some of alertoes famous carne asada fries but this time, it was a sure thing. Located off the 405, on Heil and Magnolia, Sagami Tei offers a large variety of sushi and teppan. I've never tried the teppan there, but after trying Benny Hana, I wasn't that satisfied. Upon entering the restaurant, you are greeted by everybody and then escorted to you chair. The sushi bar is decorated with a string of oriental lanterns that gave it a warm touch. Sushi buffet dinner at Sagami is 22.95, and with that you get the works. I ordered White tuna, Tuna, Albacore, Yellow Tail, Red Snapper, Salmon, Squid, Octopus, Clam, and my all time favorite, Uni(Sea Urchin). I also got a side of Gyoza(fried dumplings), and Grilled Mussels. My other ameture sushi companions ordered the usual crunchy roll, spider roll, and tiger roll with salad and miso soup. You can also order everything separately if you don't want to with the buffet. The service is excellent, and your always greeted with a smile. However, I think I over did it this time, and ended up knocking out for a few hours at Vi's before I went home. All in all, it was a good day. Until next time Sagami's! =)
