What can I tell you about Narano Sushi that has me coming back for more? I've been eating here since my high school days and despite all the competition out there. There will always be a place in my heart for Narano Sushi. I went there the other day and started talking to the chef at the sushi bar, and it turns out he remembered me from high school(i was class of 02 and he was 03). His father owns the restaurant and needed help, so he works there full time. Anyways he decided to cook me up something special and not on the menu. Tuna on the inside and albacore on the outside slightly seared with a glazed garlic sauce. Anyways I don't want to blog anymore so I'm just going to post the pictures and let the pictures speak for themselves. Have fun drooling =)

A visit to Tanaka Farm's Pumpkin Patch

It's that time of year again, when the leaves turn orange and start to fall. Temperatures swing and change like your girlfriend's mood on her period. Oh yes and it's time to pick out your pumpkins to carve a jack-o-lantern! This year we decided to visit Tanaka Farm's pumpkin patch. At Tanaka farm, there is so much to see including:

* Wagon Ride around the 30 acre farm

* Wander around the corn maze

* Pick your own vegetables

* See 20 different animals in our petting zoo

* Take pictures by the mound of pumpkins

* Finally pick your own pumpkin right off the vine

It's a very fun experience to enjoy with your friends, family, and loved ones. Don't forget to bring your cameras! Keep warm everyone!

If your looking for a fine dining Vietnamese Cuisine, this is probably not your first pick. Luc Dinh Ky(aka LDK), is a place for those graveyard shift diners who crave a warm bowl of egg noodles or a plate of your steak cubes on rice after a night of clubbing or binge drinking. And just to show their appreciation, unlimited free nuoc mat(chrysanthemum drink) for all on the house! Dishes usually run around $5-$8 each entree, so it's very affordable. Tips are about a dollar a person. It is cash only, but conveniently in the same plaza is a Wells Fargo ATM brand to withdraw funds. There's no other way to end your night, than with a satisfied stomach. And if you still need time to sober up, there's always the parking lot to lounge and socialize after all have gone to sleep. =)

Hidden in the small business' of Irvine, lies an interesting combination of favorite foods chains. The small cute store called Mochilato(derived from the words Mochi+Gelato) meant, "An infusion of Japanese mochi and Italian gelato into a bite size experience!" This dessert is a must try, but if you like your mochi plain and simple, this is not for you. Each mochi ball has a rich intense flavor that packs a punch. I really wanted to try the shaved ice, but after completing a full course at House of Shabu, we would not be able to complete our mission. They also served a number of baked goods and manju(pounded sweet rice). The atmosphere was pleasantly friendly with plenty of space to dine & socialize.

Meteor Shower

Today a meteor shower was suppose to appear around the Orionid. I went to HB wetlands to see if I could take a few photographs of the shower with no success. There was a police officer that came by to check if i was having sex or smoking pot. I did however take a few cool pictures of the bridge and the reflection of the light pollution off the reflection of the water which came out pretty nice. Now I'm super tired and ready for bed with class in the morning to work on our midterm projects.
