I actually planned to go watch this event, but as the clock struck 2am I was already dozing off. Then a few moments later my friend got me to go because his cousin said there was a location in Laguna Beach where there were a lot of people star gazing. Anyways by the time we got there, there were 3 cop cars patrolling, telling people they couldn't wander off on the dirt trails, but there were just too many people and they didn't feel like chasing anybody in the dark, so they just sat in their cars lol. The night was epic. Clear view of the stars and the city and a good amount of shooting stars that left a glowing trail of dust for a few seconds before it disappeared. I didn't manage to capture any pictures of the shooting stars, because taking a picture of a shooting star is like finding a needle in a haystack. They don't fly by in the same location as the last one, and they only come when you least expect it. Oh well. The night wasn't a total loss. I got a few nice pictures of the view of the city.

Stand Up For Kids Charity Event

http://www.standupforkids.org/

Saturday November 14, We went to the Stand Up for Kids Charity Event to support Jenny Tran and her group for their marketing project. Anyways, it seemed like a pretty good turn out. I should've bought some raffle tickets to win the better pizes =( thx for the heads up jenny! Oh well. The event was held to inform people that there are starving kids everywhere. Many people were touched by what the kids had to say, and wanted to give back to the community. The event was well organized. Mission Accomplished! Good Job Guys!

Manny's Munny

Today I finished his hands and did a mini photoshoot....lol

Good Samaritan Tshirt Logo Design

I designed a Logo for Amy for her marketing class. Her project was based on her Good Samaratan missions trip to Vietnam last summer. The motive of this project was to advertise and sell tshirts as a fundraiser to raise money to help with the trip. I think it turned out very well compared to the old logo they had.

Drawing my Munny

So I started drawing on my Munny last night that I got during my stay in New York from Kid Robot. I never knew how fun and addicting these are! Gotta go pick up some more! Note to self, pick up some new pens & markers. Not bad for my first time. Just gotta finish up the arms & some finishing touches, and I'll be done. =)

Think your a hard core Hello Kitty Collector? Then guess again. This past weekend I had the opportunity to check Three Apples' Hello Kitty Exhibit, celebrating her 35th birthday. The event was held at Royal T in Culver City, and here artists and collectors came from all over the world to show their support. Even local celebrities such as Kimora Lee Simmons and Paris Hilton came out to participate in this event. Jaime Rivadeneira was asked to curate this event, because she owns JapanLA, a famous japanese pop culture shop located in LA. The event will only be held until november 15th, so get in while you can! You can check the Royal T website to meet artists, or join in for their workshops. My personal favorite included the Hit + Run Crew(hip-hop icons in the silk screen industry). There will be artwork and rare toys available for purchasing, especially those of you that would like to own a piece of history. There will also be a dining area served by ladies in french maid outfits(popular in japan). From hello kitty pancakes to hello kitty cupcakes, this place has it all! Come see Hello Kitty at her finest before it's too late!

oh yea btw, there were a lot of pictures lol...
